But it doesn’t define the broader concept of “priority” itself.

Priority, in its most general sense, simply means being given precedence over others. This can manifest in various ways. At an airport, priority might mean:

• Priority Boarding: Getting on the plane before other passengers. This isn’t necessarily tied to security screening speed.
• Priority Baggage Handling: Ensuring your luggage is among the first to be unloaded and available for collection. Again, unrelated to security.
• Priority Customer Service: Being given preferential treatment when dealing with airline or airport staff.
