How to see all Wi-Fi passwords on iPhone?
How to View Stored Wi-Fi Passwords on Your iPhone
Your iPhone keeps a secure record of the Wi-Fi passwords for networks you’ve connected to in the past. This feature makes it convenient to reconnect to familiar hotspots without having to re-enter the password each time.
To access these stored passwords, follow these steps:
-
Unlock your iPhone. Use your Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to unlock your device.
-
Open the Settings app. Tap on the gear icon on your home screen.
-
Navigate to Wi-Fi. Scroll down and tap on “Wi-Fi” in the Settings menu.
-
Select the locked network. Find the Wi-Fi network for which you want to view the password and tap on the “i” icon next to it.
-
Enter your iPhone password. A pop-up window will appear asking for your iPhone’s password or passcode.
-
Reveal the password. Once authenticated, the Wi-Fi network’s password will be displayed in the “Password” field.
Additional Notes:
- This method only works for Wi-Fi networks that you have previously connected to on your iPhone.
- You must be authenticated with your iPhone to access the stored passwords.
- If you have forgotten the password to your iPhone, you will not be able to view the stored Wi-Fi passwords.
- Sharing Wi-Fi passwords with others is done at your own discretion.
This feature eliminates the hassle of remembering multiple Wi-Fi passwords and allows you to easily reconnect to frequently visited hotspots. Whether you’re at home, work, or a public place, you can stay connected with ease.
