   • Add to Home Screen: Selecting this option will place new app icons on your Home Screen and in the App Library. This is the default setting for a more traditional app management approach.

   • App Library Only: Choosing this option will send newly downloaded apps directly to the App Library, keeping them off your Home Screen. This is ideal for users who prefer a minimalist Home Screen experience and primarily use the App Library for app access.

   • Show Notification Badges in App Library: This option, regardless of where you choose to place new app icons, allows notification badges to appear on app icons within the App Library. This helps you stay informed about updates and notifications without needing to have the app on your Home Screen.

4. Test Your Settings: Download a new app from the App Store to see how your chosen settings affect its placement. If you opted for “App Library Only,” the app will be tucked away in its respective category within the App Library, leaving your Home Screen untouched.
