How to Enroll in TSA PreCheck

To enroll in TSA PreCheck, follow these steps:

1. Visit the TSA PreCheck website (https://www.tsa.gov/precheck) and create an account.
2. Provide your personal information, including your name, address, and date of birth.
3. Submit a $85 application fee and pay the fee online.
4. Schedule an in-person appointment at a TSA enrollment center.
5. Bring your passport or other valid government-issued ID to the appointment.
6. Undergo a background check and fingerprinting.

Linking Your KTN to Airline Reservations

Once you’re enrolled in TSA PreCheck, you’ll receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN). To enjoy the program’s benefits, you must link your KTN to each airline reservation you make.

To link your KTN:

• Create an account or log in.
• Go to the “My KTN” section.
