Citizens of most countries, including the United States, Canada, and most European nations, are eligible for a visa on arrival (VOA) in the Philippines. This allows them to enter the country for an initial stay of 30 days.

Extendable Stay

The initial 30-day visa period can be extended for an additional 30 days by submitting an application to the Bureau of Immigration in the Philippines. The extension fee is approximately 3,000 Philippine pesos.

E-Arrival Card Application

To obtain a VOA, travelers must complete an online e-Arrival card application within seven days of their intended arrival. The e-Arrival card includes personal information, travel itinerary, and health declaration. Upon submission, travelers will receive a reference number.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a VOA, the following criteria must be met:

• Hold a valid passport with a validity of at least six months beyond the intended departure from the Philippines
• Not have been convicted of a crime in the Philippines or any other country
• Not be subject to any deportation or exclusion orders from the Philippines
• Have proof of onward travel or sufficient funds for the duration of the stay

Fees

The VOA is free of charge. However, travelers may need to pay for visa extensions or airport departure tax.
