Updating your Global Entry information is simple. Log into your Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account and use the Update Documents feature. Name changes require an in-person visit to a Global Entry enrollment center; otherwise, online updates suffice.

How to Transfer Your Global Entry to a New Passport

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to enter the United States through automated kiosks at designated airports. If you have a Global Entry membership and you get a new passport, you will need to update your Global Entry information.

Steps to Transfer Your Global Entry to a New Passport

  1. Log into your Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account. You can access your TTP account at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/.
  2. Click on the “Update Documents” feature. The Update Documents feature is located under the “My Profile” tab.
  3. Follow the instructions to update your passport information. You will need to provide your new passport number and expiration date.
  4. Submit your changes. Once you have updated your passport information, click on the “Submit” button.

If You Have a Name Change

If you have a name change, you will need to visit a Global Entry enrollment center in person to update your information. You can find a list of Global Entry enrollment centers at https://www.cbp.gov/global-entry/enrollment-centers.
