Effective June 17, 2023, the visa application fees for US visitor visas (B1/B2) and other non-petition-based visas, such as student and exchange visas, have increased from $160 to $185. This applies to applications submitted in Vietnam.

Payment Method
Visa fees must be paid electronically through the official U.S. Department of State website. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted.
Exemptions
Certain categories of applicants are exempt from the increased fees, including:
- Applicants under the age of 16
- Applicants over the age of 79
- Applicants from certain diplomatic or official categories
