Successful Visa Approval: What to Expect

Upon approval of your immigrant visa, you will receive a sealed packet containing essential documents that are vital for your entry into the United States. Contents of the Visa Packet

The sealed packet will typically include the following documents:

• Immigrant Visa: The physical visa document that grants you permission to enter the U.S.
• Passport: Your valid passport, which must be submitted with the visa application.
• Medical Examination Records: Evidence that you have undergone the required medical examinations and have been certified as medically admissible.

• Other Supporting Documents: Any additional documentation that may have been required as part of your visa application.

Arrival at the Port of Entry
