Thailand, renowned for its captivating temples, pristine beaches, and vibrant culture, is a popular destination for travelers from around the world. Recognizing the importance of tourism to its economy, Thailand has implemented a generous visa-free entry policy for citizens of 93 countries.

Eligible Nationalities

The following nationalities are eligible for visa-free entry to Thailand for a period of 30 days:

• Europe: All member states of the European Union, as well as Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City.
• Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela.

Visa Exemption Scheme

Visitors from eligible countries are granted visa-free entry under Thailand’s exemption scheme. This scheme allows travelers to stay for a maximum of 30 days without obtaining a visa in advance. Upon arrival, visitors must present a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining and a departure ticket.

Bilateral Agreements

In addition to the visa exemption scheme, Thailand has also entered into bilateral agreements with certain countries that grant extended visa-free entry periods:

• China, India, and Myanmar: 90 days
• Bhutan: 90 days for officials, 30 days for general visitors
• Indonesia: 60 days
• Vietnam: 30 days for tourists, 90 days for business travelers
