This summer, as part of its 2024 journey, 4014 will undertake a “Westward Bound” tour that will traverse five states on its way to California. The tour schedule includes:

• June 27: Depart from Cheyenne, Wyoming
• June 28: Stop in Rawlins, Wyoming
• June 29: Arrive in Green River, Utah
• June 30: Continue to Helper, Utah
• July 1: Reach Salt Lake City, Utah
• July 2: Arrive in Reno, Nevada
• July 3: Steam into Sparks, Nevada
• July 4: Celebrate Independence Day in Roseville, California

Heartland of America Tour

After its California sojourn, Big Boy 4014 will embark on the “Heartland of America” tour, which will span nine additional states. The tentative schedule is as follows:

• July 5: Depart from Roseville, California
• July 6: Stop in Sparks, Nevada
• July 7: Arrive in Ogden, Utah
• July 8: Continue to Laramie, Wyoming
• July 9: Reach Cheyenne, Wyoming
• July 10: Depart from Cheyenne
• July 11: Arrive in North Platte, Nebraska
• July 12: Stop in York, Nebraska
• July 13: Reach Omaha, Nebraska
